What to Expect at the 2017 Willamette Valley Ag Expo


The 2017 Willamette Valley Ag Expo on Nov. 14-16 in Albany, Oregon will feature more than 175 exhibitors (including yours truly, of course). From grain storage to the latest precision ag technology, machinery to farm insurance, you’ll find everything you need for your agriculture business in one place.

Event Details

Where: The Linn County Fair and Expo Center, 3700 Knox Butte Rd E, Albany, OR 97322

When: Tuesday, Nov. 14 from 9am-6pm, Wednesday, Nov. 15 from 10am-9pm, and Thursday, Nov. 16 from 10am-5pm

Tickets: Admission is $4 per person or $12 per person with the addition of a “Dine Around Oregon” pass which allows visitors access to four buffet lines. Tickets to the event can be purchased at the door or online in advance.

This year, Papé is excited to be both a sponsor and exhibitor at the event. We’ll have the latest John Deere models on display, including the 9520RX four-wheel drive tractor, the S660 combine, the R4023 sprayer, and a few compact tractors.  Willamette Valley Ag Expo guests will also see some of the specialized equipment sold exclusively by Papé, like the Monchiero 20125 fruit and nut harvester and a dump cart from Hilco.

The Willamette Valley Ag Association, the host of the event, is committed to agriculture education and offers a variety of courses with industry experts during the Expo. Register in advance for classes on topics including:

  • Going Soft on Pollinators and Hard on Pests
  • Practical Sprayer Calibration
  • Growing Olives & Producing Extra Virgin Olive Oil in Oregon
  • Forklift Certification Training
  • CPR/AED/First Aid Training

Proceeds from the Expo are dedicated to the Willamette Valley Ag Association Scholarship Program to support students who are pursuing a degree in the field of agriculture.
