Papé Kenworth Sponsors the Annual Asparagus Festival

Papé Kenworthis proud to sponsor the 2014 Stockton Asparagus Festival, as this “Best of the West” Food Fest celebrates its 28th anniversary. From April 25-27, the Weber Point Events Center will be transformed into a melting pot of music, entertainment, and delicious food.

The Asparagus Festival showcases regional talent from over 100 artisans and vendors, who can be found in the Farmer’s Market and Arts & Crafts area. For wine lovers, don’t forget to sample wine from some of the finest local vineyards at Spear-Its of the Valley.

With three stages to choose from, you can dance to the beat of the famed Street Drum Corps or relax to an acoustic performance.  You can also satisfy your stomach with tastes from world-class culinary masters at the Chef of the Fest exhibit.

If you’re feeling daring, enter to win the famed Deep Fried Asparagus Eating Competition. Golfers can also participate in the Hole-In-One competition; an expert swing could win you $100,000!

Children will find paradise in Asparazone filled with rides and interactive activities. Guests of all ages won’t want to miss out on the Sea Lion Encounter, a show featured in National Geographic and The New York Times. Learn more about these fascinating creatures from conservationist Dr. Hurley, watch them perform incredible tricks, and enjoy the rare opportunity to interact with the friendly sea lions. You can also enjoy a spectacular performance from Rockin’ Ray and the Amazing Skyy Dogs, as canine companions pull off amazing stunts.

Join Papé Kenworth to celebrate three days of delicious food, superb performers, and a host of attractions that will delight the entire family. Since its start, the Asparagus Festival has fundraised over $5.8 million for charity.
