Papé Group was proud to be a part of the 2014 Oregon Logging Conference (OLC), an annual event celebrating the Northwest’s tradition of forestry. Spanning from February 19th to the 22nd, the conference offered lectures, shows, and exhibits supporting its mission to “assist forestry professionals in their pursuit of professional development.”
The OLC has been an Oregon logging show tradition since 1939, when it first introduced the forestry industry to techniques and strategies that could enhance productivity and stewardship. Since then, the OLC has grown to become a highly anticipated date in the Oregon events calendar, offering a way for foresters to access important information and network with one another.
Nearly 4,000 attendees gathered at Lane County Fairgrounds in Eugene for four days of seminars, educational opportunities, and exhibitor space. Papé introduced thousands of guests to cutting edge logging, trucking, construction, and heavy equipment which offer greater efficiency and benefits to those working in forestry. The OLC has garnered a reputation as the go-to place to see the latest technological advancements in the forestry sector, and Papé was proud to provide attendees with an opportunity to get a first personal glimpse at the latest equipment. In addition to top tier equipment, our knowledgeable specialists were there throughout the conference to answer questions, provide support, and offer expert guidance.
The OLC is one of the only Oregon events that offers new information and technology to the logging industry, making it vital to thousands of professionals throughout the region. Beyond providing a platform to see and experience important new equipment, the OLC offers education programs and scholarships for those pursuing a career in forestry.
The state of Oregon is defined by a prolific history of logging and forestry. Papé is proud to enable the continuation of this tradition by providing a marriage of cutting-edge technology and user friendly equipment. Many thanks to the Oregon Logging Conference for facilitating an event inspiring thousands of foresters and loggers throughout the Pacific Northwest every year!
