Papé Keeps You Moving

Count on Papé to have the equipment you want and the support you need

At Papé, our roots reach back to 1938 when our founder acquired his first capital equipment dealership in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Today, we’re the leading supplier of heavy equipment, material handling equipment, agricultural and forestry equipment, trucks, engineered warehouse products, and expertise. Whatever your equipment needs, it’s our job to keep you moving.

It’s a promise we’ve kept for four generations – and intend to keep for generations to come.

Family History

E.C. Papé arrived in Oregon in 1938 to work alongside his friend in an Allis-Chalmers dealership. Word quickly spread about E.C.’s customer service, commitment and dependability. The Papé name took root, E.C. started his own company, and the family-owned business began to grow and prosper. By the mid to late 1960s, Dean and Ed introduced the era of the rubber-tired skidder to the Northwest timber industry.

In 1990, Randy Papé expanded the business to include Hyster dealerships in Oregon, Washington and California, forming The Papé Group of Companies - which now includes Papé Machinery, Papé Material Handling, Papé Kenworth, Ditch Witch Northwest, and Engineered Products.

Now, four generations strong, the value of an honest handshake and a square deal continue to drive our success and that of our customers. It’s a promise E.C. made over 75 years ago – a commitment we intend to keep.
